i hate iceberg lettuce

seriously. it is disgusting. it tastes terrible.

okay, so i don't mind it so much as a cold salad. but i cannot understand how anyone can bear to eat it warm. like, sprinkled all over mexican food [inexplicable]...or in wonton soup [yes, as unbelievable as it seems, i have been served this at more than one restaurant]...on a hot hamburger...let alone how utterly horrifying it is when you're on the leftover half of the chimichanga, the next day, and it's all limp and brown. eww. down with iceberg, i say.

I was watching a show on the food network one time and the woman hosting the show made a soup that had lettuce in it. Alot of lettuce.

I don't have a problem with lettuce - but warm, gooey lettuce soup makes me feel sick : P

bleh!

Oh!! Me too! Ugh. There are so many wonderful leafy greens out there, why would anyone choose iceburg? I'm a romaine and raw spinach kinda gal myself!
*shiver* warm, translucent, limp lettuce, bleh.
